Real Estate Investing for Latinas is a real estate podcast created specifically for Latina women who want to build wealth through rental property investing. Hosted by Violeta Sandoval alongside a fellow Latina investor, the show breaks down real estate concepts in a way that is culturally relevant, accessible, and strategically grounded. What sets this podcast apart is its community-first approach — combining practical investing education with an authentic voice that speaks directly to mujeres navigating financial systems that were not always designed with them in mind.
Listeners of this real estate podcast gain actionable knowledge on topics including house hacking, duplex investing, DSCR loans, hard money lending, seller financing, cash flow analysis, and real estate tax benefits. Episodes feature a mix of solo breakdowns and expert guest interviews — including mortgage professionals, experienced investors, and landlords — covering everything from first-time home buyer loan options to navigating city regulations as a landlord. Recent episodes have also addressed timely housing policy topics such as rent control and lessons from the 2008 housing crash, giving listeners both historical context and forward-looking strategy.
Real Estate Investing for Latinas is built for ambitious Latina women at every stage of their investing journey — whether they are just beginning to explore rental properties, working toward their first house hack, or actively scaling a portfolio. Violeta Sandoval and her co-host offer a space free of shame or unrealistic promises, focused instead on empowering women with the mindset and practical tools needed to rewrite their family's financial story. If you are a cycle-breaker looking for a community of like-minded jefas and future landlords, this is the podcast for you.
Violeta Sandoval is a first-generation Mexican immigrant, U.S. Navy veteran, and real estate podcast host who built her investing portfolio from the ground up — starting with house-hacking her first home just three years after joining the Navy. Growing up undocumented and with minimal personal finance education, she navigated college and finances largely on her own before hitting a turning point that led her to military service and, ultimately, to rental property investing.
Through her platform MoneyChisme, Violeta has spent years breaking down personal finance, rental property investing, and generational wealth-building for the Latino community. She is the creator of the MoneyChisme Podcast (102 episodes, active since 2022) and launched Real Estate Investing for Latinas — also branded as Real Estate Chisme — in 2025 as a dedicated space for Latina investors. The show covers topics from house-hacking and buying a first duplex to property management challenges and rental income strategy, delivered with a culturally relevant, shame-free approach.
Today, Violeta serves as a Naval Industrial Hygiene Officer with a STEM degree in Occupational Health and Safety, while also generating passive income through her rental investments. Her mission is to close the racial wealth gap by sharing relatable success stories and practical strategies tailored for first-generation Latinas. Through her Rental Property Bootcamp and a free Latina Real Estate Investors community, she continues to empower mujeres to rewrite their family's money story one rental property at a time.
Violeta Sandoval is looking for Latina real estate investors, mortgage professionals, and landlords to share actionable strategies with their listeners.
