John's career in real estate spans the full spectrum of the industry. Before founding Alpha Property Group, he served as a Commercial Associate at PHP Commercial, where he specialized in bank-owned properties, residential land, multi-family units, retail spaces, mixed-use developments, office spaces, and adaptive re-use properties. That commercial portfolio management experience gives him an analytical edge that most residential agents simply don't have — he evaluates every property through a financial lens, whether it's a starter home or an investment portfolio play.

He joined PalmerHouse Properties & Associates in August 2013 and quickly established himself in commercial transactions involving investment properties and land speculation. From there, he built Alpha Property Group into a full-service team handling residential, new construction, commercial, and land representation across the greater metro Atlanta area. The group was formally incorporated in December 2020 and now operates out of HomeSmart's Roswell office at 10900 Crabapple Road.

What sets John apart is his rare combination of formal finance education and hands-on real estate experience — from single-family residential construction to commercial investment portfolio management. He's an active member of the Urban Land Institute, the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®, the U.S. Green Building Council, the Young Council of REALTORS®, and the 400 North Board of REALTORS®. He also holds continuing education credits from the University of Georgia, Center for Continuing Education.
