Michael Travis has lived on or near the water his entire life, from the shores of Lake Michigan to Manhattan Island, the waterfront of Boston, and a lake house in New Hampshire. His family also owned a private island, accessible by a nine-mile boat ride and an additional 28 miles by car to the nearest town. This lifelong connection to water gives Michael a deep understanding of the emotional pull of waterfront living.
That passion led to the creation of Waterfront Agent, and as a result, he sold homes on more different lakes in New Hampshire than any other agent.
Prior to real estate, he spent over 30 years as an Art Director and Creative Director at leading advertising agencies in New York City and Boston, working primarily with advertising legend Jerry Della Femina. Over his career, he worked on more than 450 accounts and collaborated with prominent figures in music, fashion, and business, including a four-star General and three U.S Presidents. He has also produced several books and has published in both print and social media.
