Sunny Alexander
I always knew I wanted to work in real estate, but when Jordan and I first got married, we simply couldn’t afford for me to take that risk. Then life took one of its unpredictable turns.
In 2005, I was recalled from the Inactive Ready Reserve and brought back on active duty for a year. At the same time, Jordan was deployed to Iraq, one of his many deployments. It wasn’t part of my plan, but that year changed everything. Through discipline, teamwork, we managed to save enough money for me to leap into real estate. That unexpected chapter gave me the foundation to start my own business and pursue the career I’d always dreamed of.
Since leaving the Army the second time, I’ve been in real estate, with just a short break to earn my Master’s in Corporate Communications and work in the fitness industry. But my heart has always been here. I love real estate, the challenges, the people, and the problem-solving. Every deal is different, and that keeps me sharp, humble, and grateful.
Even though real estate is a business, I know every transaction is deeply personal. Buying or selling a home isn’t just about numbers, it’s about family, emotion, and new beginnings. As both a veteran and a military spouse, I’ve moved my family all over the country, buying, selling, and starting over again and again. Every move taught me something new about resilience, timing, and what “home” really means. That experience shaped how I serve others today.
Today, as a real estate broker and founder of Red Sash Realty, I’m proud to serve the Tampa Bay area, including St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Sarasota, helping families, especially veterans, find stability, growth, and generational wealth through real estate.
Beyond real estate, I stay grounded through my faith and community work.
