Marv McGuire

Marv McGuire (Commander, U.S. Navy, ret.) retired after 25 years of service in 2013 and worked as a Senior Director of Business Development for multiple federal defense contractors until 2023. Like many military families, Marv, and his wife, Victoria, moved multiple times over the course of their military career and they bought, invested in, and occasionally became “unexpected landlords” for a variety of reasons; the lessons learned while managing these assets accelerated their interest in and transition to commercial real estate.

He deployed multiple times in the military, is a 3-time brain cancer survivor, and has a goal to section-hike the entire 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail. These experiences have given him a unique perspective on life, family, and business in general.

Marv and his wife, Victoria, have been married for almost 32 years; have four children and live in North Redington Beach, Florida. They currently own more than 850 multifamily units in FL, GA, SC, NC, and TX.
